Arizona's Weird Law...

One of the things I need to do today is take the license plate frame off my car. Then, of course put the tag back on.

You see, our state, pretty enlightened as a rule, starts enforcing a law today that requires no frame on a license tag that cover the name "Arizona". What difference this makes no one seems to know. I would check it out but frankly don't think the answer would justify the research. I shall leave that as one of life's enduring mysteries.

If I don't get this done today and some anal police officer spots the transgression, I will be hauled into court and fined $135 plus court costs (whatever that means). I don't want to do that.

I just thought you might like to know.
