Woody Allen and Me...

If there is anyone in the world who is my total opposite, it is Woody Allen. And yet for decades I have been fascinated with his work.

David Kamp, in an article in yesterday's New York Times Book Review quotes Allen: "I'm a firm believer that when you're dead, naming a street after you doesn't help your metabolism."

Again, "Rather than live on in the hearts and minds of my fellow man, I'd prefer to live on in my apartment."

As different as we might be, I hear Woody loud and clear.

Wow - I really like the irony of living on in an apartment, rather than in the heart and mind of friends. Too funny! G
